Ingredients
- 2 red bell peppers
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Cut the peppers in half and remove the stems and seeds. Place the peppers cut side down on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until the peppers are soft and lightly browned.
- Remove the peppers from the oven and let cool. Peel off the skins and discard.
- In a food processor, combine the peppers, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Process until smooth.
- Add the olive oil and process until the sauce is the desired consistency. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
