Ingredients
- 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a medium bowl, combine the strawberries, sugar, orange liqueur, cornstarch and water. Stir until evenly combined.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Remove from oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Just before serving, drizzle the melted butter over the top of the pie.
