Ingredients
2 pounds fresh cherries, pitted and halved
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1 cup all-purpose flour

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine cherries, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. Stir to combine.
Pour cherry mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Stir until just combined.
Pour biscuit mixture over the cherry mixture, spreading evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm. Enjoy!
