Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, eggs, olive oil, salt, and water. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.
  3. Using a biscuit cutter or a glass, cut out circles of dough about 3 inches in diameter.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together the ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the ricotta mixture onto each circle of dough.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape.
  7. Using a fork, press the edges of the dough together to seal.
  8. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  9. Carefully place the fravioli in the skillet and cook until lightly browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  10. Serve hot.
