Interesting Facts
The origin of the dish is unknown, but it is believed to have been created in the late 19th century.
Swiss cheese is often used in meatloaf recipes because it melts easily and gives the dish a creamy texture.
Adding ketchup to the top of the meatloaf gives it a sweet and tangy flavor.
