Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, Swiss cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together bread crumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and egg.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the ground beef mixture and mix well.
  5. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
