Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the rice and chicken stock and stir to combine.
  4. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and bring to pressure. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat and let the pressure cooker cool naturally for 10 minutes.
  6. Open the lid and stir the rice.
  7. Serve with salt and pepper to taste.
