Ingredients
- 2 filet mignon steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add the filet mignon steaks and cook for 3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.

- Add the cream and cook for 1 minute, stirring to combine.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and cook for 1 minute to heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the steaks with the garlic shrimp cream sauce.
