Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2/3 cup eggnog
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, salt, evaporated milk, and eggnog. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour into the prepared baking dish and allow to cool completely.
  4. Cut into squares and enjoy!
