Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguini pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cans (6.5 ounces each) chopped clams, with juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Cook linguini in boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add white wine, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Add clams with juice to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add cooked linguini and parsley to the skillet and toss to combine. Simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  5. Serve warm.
