In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and egg. Add this to the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut the dough into 12 equal-sized pieces. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
