- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the white wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice.
