Learn how to make soft and fluffy homemade white bread using your blender. This easy recipe yields a loaf of bread with a tender crumb and a golden crust. Perfect for sandwiches or toasting, this blender white bread will become a staple in your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and stir gently. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a flour-dusted surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Shape the dough into a ball.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle roughly the width of the loaf pan. Starting from one end, tightly roll up the dough to form a loaf shape.
  7. Place the rolled dough seam side down into the greased loaf pan. Cover loosely with the kitchen towel and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
