Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cherries, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Stir until the cherries are evenly coated.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, and bread crumbs.
  3. Add the melted butter to the oat mixture and stir until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Spread the cherry mixture in the bottom of an 8-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the cherries.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
