These classic chocolate chip cookies are the perfect combination of chewy and crispy, with just the right amount of gooey chocolate chips. They're easy to make and even easier to eat!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in flour mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
