Ingredients
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 hot dogs
- 8 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 16 slices of pepperoni
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the hot dog buns horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Place a slice of mozzarella cheese inside each hot dog bun, on one side.
- Insert a hot dog into each bun, on top of the cheese.
- Wrap 2 slices of pepperoni around each hot dog, securing them with toothpicks if needed.
- Place the pizza dogs in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they're not touching each other.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the hot dogs are heated through.
- While the pizza dogs are cooking, in a small bowl, mix together the shredded Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil.
- Once the pizza dogs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute.
- Drizzle marinara sauce over the pizza dogs and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese mixture on top.
