This recipe is a twist on traditional fried rice by adding tender steak pieces for extra flavor and protein. It's a perfect dish for a quick and satisfying meal that will leave you wanting more!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups cooked white rice, cooled
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft.
  3. Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and add beaten eggs. Scramble eggs until fully cooked.
  4. Add cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with vegetables and eggs.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the rice.
  6. Add cooked steak back to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. Serve hot and enjoy!
