Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of phyllo dough, thawed
- Oil for frying
Directions
- In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Cut the phyllo dough into small squares. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle. Seal the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the sambusas until crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels before serving.
