Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • - 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - 1 teaspoon sugar
  • - 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 1 cup warm water
  • For the toppings:
  • - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • - 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • - 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • - 1 cup sliced onions
  • - 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • - 1 cup sliced black olives
  • - 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • - 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces
  • - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1/4 cup olive oil
  • - 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion on a floured surface to the desired thickness.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Brush the olive oil mixture onto the rolled out dough.
  9. Top the pizza with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, pepperoni, black olives, feta cheese, and torn basil leaves.
  10. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  11. Transfer the pizza onto a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
