Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, margarine, salt, eggs, and flour to the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix until smooth, then cover and let it rise for about 1 hour in a warm place.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  5. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12-15 slices.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  8. In the morning, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes.
  9. While the rolls are baking, mix together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt to make the frosting.
  10. Spread the frosting over the warm rolls and enjoy!
