This savory sandwich features tender sauteed mushrooms and artichokes topped with gooey melted cheese, all sandwiched between two slices of crusty bread. Perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner option!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add chopped artichoke hearts and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
