Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, dijon mustard, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Reserve the remaining marinade.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. While the chicken is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, brush the glaze over the chicken thighs. Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  8. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
