This Korean Mandu Egg Roll combines the classic flavors of mandu dumplings with the simplicity of an egg roll. A perfect appetizer or snack that is packed with savory meat and vegetable filling, wrapped in a crispy egg roll wrapper.

Ingredients

  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, cabbage, carrots, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to seal.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  4. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel. Repeat with the remaining egg roll wrappers and filling.
  5. Slice the egg rolls into bite-sized pieces and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
