Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

  • For the glaze:
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic for the glaze. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce is slightly thickened.
