- 1 whole turkey, about 12-14 pounds
- 1 gallon apple juice
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup salt
- 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
Directions

- Remove the giblets from the turkey and place it in a brining bag or large container. Pour the cooled brine over the turkey, making sure it is completely submerged. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Remove the turkey from the brine and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Place turkey on a rack in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the thigh. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Serve the honey-apple-brined turkey with your favorite Thanksgiving sides and enjoy!
