- 2 cups dried figs

Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine the dried figs and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Take the cooled figs and blend them in a food processor until smooth.
