Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 fresh figs, quartered

Directions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
