Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the brewed coffee, sugar, and coffee liqueur. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the whipped cream. Mix until well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the coffee mixture, then line the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish with them.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
  9. Slice and enjoy the frozen tiramisu straight from the freezer.
