Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup sliced avocado
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
Directions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side or until cooked through
- Remove chicken from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips
- Warm tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side
- Assemble tacos by placing chicken strips on tortillas and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt
