Ingredients
- 1 package of yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
Directions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk for 5-10 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups of flour. Mix well.
- Add the remaining flour gradually to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a kitchen towel for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, apples, and walnuts over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
