Ingredients

  • 1 package of yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Directions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups of flour. Mix well.
  3. Add the remaining flour gradually to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a kitchen towel for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  6. Spread softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, apples, and walnuts over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
