Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
Directions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make the dry rub.
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and apply the dry rub generously on both sides of the racks.
- Place the seasoned ribs on the smoker racks bone-side down and smoke for 3 hours, maintaining a steady temperature.
- After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the smoker and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
- Return the wrapped ribs to the smoker and continue smoking for another 1 hour.
- While the ribs are smoking, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Once the ribs are done smoking, carefully unwrap them from the foil and transfer them to the grill.
- Brush the ribs generously with your favorite BBQ sauce on both sides and grill for about 5 minutes per side, or until the sauce caramelizes and forms a beautiful glaze.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them into individual portions.
- Serve the smoked BBQ baby back ribs hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side and enjoy!
