- 2 lbs beef, cubed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

- Heat mustard oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute.
