Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds lean ground turkey
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 zucchini, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, grated zucchini, fresh parsley, fresh basil, and fresh thyme. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, bread crumbs, milk, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the wet mixture into the turkey mixture and mix until well combined. Use your hands to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
