Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds lean ground turkey
  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, grated zucchini, fresh parsley, fresh basil, and fresh thyme. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, bread crumbs, milk, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the turkey mixture and mix until well combined. Use your hands to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
