Ingredients

  • 4 cups sushi rice
  • 1 cup Japanese mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup pickled ginger, chopped
  • 1/4 cup nori, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a bowl, mix the Japanese mayonnaise and sriracha sauce together.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded imitation crab meat, green onions, pickled ginger, and soy sauce.
  5. Line the bottom of a baking dish with half of the sushi rice.
  6. Spread a layer of the mayo and sriracha sauce mixture over the rice.
  7. Add a layer of the imitation crab meat mixture on top.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining rice, sauce, and crab mixture.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and sprinkle the sliced nori on top.
  11. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly crispy.
  12. Serve the sushi bake hot and enjoy!
