Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, red bell pepper, green onions, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 crab cakes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spray the top of each crab cake with cooking spray.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Place the crab cakes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the crab cakes are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Carefully flip the crab cakes halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
