Vegan Black Bean Burgers with Oats
Ingredients
1 cup black-eyed peas, soaked overnight
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
Oil for frying
Directions
Drain and rinse the soaked peas.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt.
Gradually add the water and whisk until the mixture is thick and smooth.

Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
