Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
  2. In another shallow bowl, add the buttermilk.
  3. In a third shallow bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and then into the panko breadcrumbs, making sure each piece is evenly coated.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the chicken strips from the pan and place onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
