- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- In a large bowl, mix together sauerkraut, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate shallow dishes.
- Dip each sauerkraut ball first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the sauerkraut balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
