Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, water, salt, and melted butter until smooth.
  2. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Grease the pan lightly with butter. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the center of the skillet and swirl it around to spread the batter out to the edges of the pan.
  3. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges of the crepe start to brown. Carefully flip the crepe and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract and heat until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. To serve, place a crepe on a plate and drizzle with the warm chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
