Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves. Mix until well blended.
Add eggs and evaporated milk; mix until smooth.
Pour into pie crust.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; bake an additional 40 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
