Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken, cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, ground ginger, red pepper flakes and cornstarch.
- Add chicken and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Add the marinade and water to the pan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add broccoli and cook for an additional 3 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
- Add green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
