Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
