Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 (16 ounce) package gnocchi
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the chicken, cream, and gnocchi and stir to combine. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
