Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork shoulder, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeno peppers

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork cubes with the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until the pork cubes are well coated.
  2. In the slow cooker, add the pork cubes and all the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the pork is tender.
  4. Stir and serve.
