Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups half-and-half

Directions
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in flour, salt, and pepper and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Whisk in half-and-half, increase heat to medium-high, and bring to a low boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Stir in crabmeat, sherry, and parsley and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
