In a large bowl, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Beat with an electric mixer until dough comes together.
Fit a cookie press with desired attachments and fill with cookie dough.
Press out cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, 1 inch apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
