1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the beef, bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and egg. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook meatballs until browned. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
In the same skillet, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, add the meatballs, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve with toothpicks.
