Ingredients

  • 2 tubes (16 ounces each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan and set aside.
  2. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  4. Drop a few biscuit quarters into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, seal the bag, and shake to coat the biscuit pieces. Repeat until all biscuit quarters are coated.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar until well combined.
  6. Arrange a layer of coated biscuit quarters in the greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle with a portion of the chopped nuts and raisins, if using. Drizzle with a portion of the melted butter mixture.
  7. Repeat the layering process until all biscuit quarters, nuts, raisins, and butter mixture are used, ending with a layer of biscuit quarters on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and the bread is cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  10. Place a serving plate over the pan and carefully invert the monkey bread onto the plate. Gently lift off the Bundt pan.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
