Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of large shrimp, deveined and shell-on
  • 2 pounds of crab legs
  • 2 pounds of mussels
  • 2 pounds of clams
  • 1 pound of smoked sausage, sliced
  • 6 ears of corn, husked and halved
  • 2 pounds of baby potatoes
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Directions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the Old Bay seasoning and salt to the boiling water.
  3. Carefully add the potatoes and boil them for about 10 minutes until they are fork-tender.
  4. Add the smoked sausage, corn, and lemon wedges to the pot and continue boiling for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Add the crab legs, mussels, clams, and shrimp to the pot. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the mussels and clams open up.
  6. Using a slotted spoon or spider strainer, transfer the cooked seafood, sausage, corn, and potatoes to a large serving platter.
  7. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and drizzle it over the seafood boil.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
