Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, bell pepper, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, parsley, and oregano.
  3. Form into a loaf shape, and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.
  5. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
