Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups homemade tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Directions
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom.
- Place three lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Spread a layer of ricotta mixture evenly over the noodles.
